Fall 2024 Registration | Closed

The Spartans are proud to offer several different options / divisions within our fall program, which include:

  • Recreation Cheer for cheerleaders in grades K-8
  • Pre-Competition Cheer for cheerleaders in grades 1-3
  • Competition Cheer for cheerleaders in grades 4-8

In addition to cheerleading, the Spartans Youth Program also offers both flag and tackle football during the fall season.

ALL cheerleaders must purchase these required items.
Required items are part of your cheer uniform.
The league only issues uniform skirt & top which are returned at the end of the season.

Pre-Comp & Comp Clinic

The pre-competition and competition teams will be kicking off the season with a  cheerleading clinic.  Our new choreographer will be present to evaluate skills and help us create competitive routines for the upcoming season.

Date: June 17th
Time: 5:45pm-7:30pm
Location: Mohawk Avenue School

Attendance is important for all cheerleaders. Please mark your calendars!

Recreation Cheer (K-8th)

Practices: August through Mid-November, 2x per week
Games: September through Mid-November
Cheer Expo: End-of-season celebratory event, Mid-November

K-1st: Will attend home flag games
2nd-8th: Will attend home and away tackle games (away games will be in neighboring towns not requiring extensive travel, transportation not provided).

Multiple squads will be formed according to grade based upon total registration numbers.

Early Bird Cost: $165 + required cheer gear via our online store

Pre-Competition Cheer (1st-3rd)

Practices: August through Mid-December, 2x per week
Games: September through Mid-November
Cheer Expo: End-of-season celebratory event, Mid-November
Competitions:

  • 2-3 competitions October through Mid-December
  • Perform as exhibition, providing evaluation but no ranking
  • Opportunity to experience the competition atmosphere before moving into our Senior Competition division

Will attend home tackle games.

Early Bird Cost: $195 + required cheer gear via our online store

Competition Cheer (4-8th)

Practices: August through January, 2x per week
Team Tumble: 1x per week (cost not included)
Games: Will attend 2-4 home tackle games
Cheer Expo: End-of-game-season celebratory event, Mid-November
Competitions:

  • 5-6 competitions October through January
  • Compete at the level defined by the age range of the squad
  • Squad(s) will be formed based upon total registration numbers.

Early Bird Cost: $395 + required cheer gear via our online store

Youth Cheer Coach

The youth cheer program is a success largely because of our teen coaches. Please consider sharing your enthusiasm and your love of cheerleading with us this season!

At the completion of the season, all coaches will receive a letter from SYF/C verifying community service/volunteer hours.

Regular attendance at practices and games/competitions throughout the season is expected.

Recreation Squad  Coaches
Practices: August through November, 2x per week
Games: Weekend home and away games (away games will be in neighboring towns not requiring extensive travel, transportation not provided).

Pre-Competition Squad Coaches
Practices: August through November, 2x per week
Games: Weekend home games

Competition Squad Coaches
Practices: August through January, 2x per week
Games: 2-4 weekend home games
